I tried to use liquid test kits for tannin stained water and I can’t see anything because it’s too dark. I also bought cheap pH and TDS meter that doesn’t seems to be trustable.

If I run blackwater through activated carbon to make it clear, would parameters be the same?
 
Stupid questions but how do I run water through activated carbon? Never done it before….

Another question regarding activated carbon: Do carbon sponges (like the one from sponge filter) lost its effectiveness like charcoal do?

Yes, they do. I wouldn't be using active carbon on your tank. Use test strips for this set up, problem solved.
