I've just bought a 300L (approx) corner tank.. I think its a Juwel Trigon 350 although until i've got it i'm not sure as the seller didnt give that much info aside from telling me its in very good condition with a few minor scratches.

I've to go an collect it next week so aside from the obvious (chips/cracks/etc) what should I look for and how should I test the tank? I'm a bit wary of just bringing into the house and filling it incase it lets go! 300L+ would pretty much kill my new floor lol.

Thanks in advance

Mark

make sure the brace bars are not cracked where thay join

as for testing stick it out in the garden and fill it up if it lets go you and the garden get wet. lol

scrub it out with ammonia and water mix that should kill any nasty bugs lurking in it and rince it out well

That's the tank I have, they make them in 190 litres or 350 litres. It is a very heavy tank so be warned!
