hi all just did my first water test normaly take it to shop are these readings ok ph 7.6 amonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 and there was a high range ph whitch was 7.4 cheers

Colin,

With the API Low and High tests, when in that range, I always find they are off from each other. Its kind of right at the bottom of the range of the High pH test kit and near the top of the range for the regular pH test kit. I don't know why. To me, it always seemed kind of a color interpretation thing.

Good job getting your own equipment XTC. The teast results will be fine if you keep any of the livebearers or similar fish that like somewhat higher pH. The numbers also say your cycle has finished and you are doing water changes often enough.
