Hi,

Whenever I used to test the water conditions of my tank I always had problems with knocking the test tubes over, getting the samples mixed up etc. I know this really must make me sound really clumsy, but it honestly wasn't like that every time! :D

Anyway, yesterday, whilst tinkering at work I came up with a solution and finally made what I've been meaning to for ages.

It's laser cut white acrylic (so you get the correct colour from the card) has space for pH, Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, GH and KH, with each space being labelled to avoid confusion.

Would anyone else be interested in one of these? What would be happy to pay inc p&p?

Let me know your thoughts, improvements, suggestions etc

Cheers

i made one like this at school using the same techniques and then a hot wire bender to get the shape. i would pay around £1.50-£2 there not expensive

Yes!! Would be interested as we're always knocking the tubes over and have successfully broken 2 because of this!

i too would be interested but it would depend on postage prices to here. no good paying a fiver postage if its only worth a few quid :)

It's great to hear the positive feedback guys!

I've had a look and I should be able to get them done for £5 posted? I have a few already made so can get them sent out straight away.

If you'd like one, PM me and i'll send you payment details (paypal)

Cheers!

Steve

I'd also be looking for trades of sterbai cories, interesting plants etc! I'm not looking to make a killing, just help pay for the tanks! :D

yep count me in as its only a matter of time before I knock mine over!

Thanks. :good:

Have been looking for somethng just like this but that would allow testing of multiple tanks at one time so something that had 10 rows like you show.

Have set it as a project for my son!!

Also looking for some more tubes so if anyone knows a good supplier be interested!

I have my own style of diy holder but yours is pretty professional by comparason.......nice!

If I were to mass produce these I would lower it slightly so the caps don't touch the holder, other than that.....sweet :good:
