Test Kit Help

Got my test kits through today but am so confused! Firstly the phosphate one wasn't sent,his wife accidentaly left it out so will be sent to me soon. Also the Nitrate one didn't have the test tube or colour charts in!

Right the tests confuse me. PH was fine, its 8.1 but the KH just confused the life out of me so I will just use my tropic marin one instead and sell this one!

The calcium and mag tests are weird. If anyone knows salifert you keep adding until it turns a certain colour, well it seemed to only turn that colour oncce the whole of the syringe had been emptied, now Im guessing thats a bad thing? Or am I reading the colours wrong? Did it in front of a window.

The Nitrate one I obviously have no clue if it is good or bad news as no colour chart to compare against. So here is a pic if you can help

It just stayed pink. So anyone with a salifert test could you give me a rough idea what reading that is please?

I think if you look through the side on salifert you divide by 10?

The only hting that will help is a large water change

I need to get my sump sorted as water level too low atm so I might just have to bite the bullet and chuck yet more water away. I reckon if I could fill it up properly it would help a lot! Gutted that I have that high nitrates

Is that right I need to divide it???

weez would you like me to take a pic of my colour chart and email it to you if it would help. as for dividing it thats done if you look thru the side of the container

How accurate would the colours be? I didnt see the link Liam posted as I was on my phone earlier.
I guessing its bad though! I thought you weren't meant to look through the side, thought that was what I read on the instructions lol!
Still have nitrates though which is pants!

i dont have them ......no corals, the colours look pretty good on the pic i just took will pm it to you
