Behind a little bubbling cave.
A friend of mine was in the hospital, and had a neighbor care for her cat. When she got out, she found out her cat was being fed at different times, which is bad, her cat was fed the same time for years, and now he leaves feces in another room away form his litterbox, under the piano. He still goes to the box, and the piano at the same time.Help!

its a very common fact that cats who are sooooo attached to their owners go into a greiving process when they are not around, there are 2 commons symptoms of these one is toileting in the wrong places as well as the litter tray and the other is a severe case of moulting or pulling out fur, its like they have gone into shock and it takes a while to get back into the swing of things. it could also be that the neighbour didnt clean the litter tray out enough and the cat chose to go under the piano and the scent of this will still be there, most cats wont poo or wee in a dirty place but some do. i would put a litter tray under the piano as well until things settle down for this poor little fellow as its not his fault and is still a little shell shocked

Makes sense. If I went to a public toilet and would have to wade through poo to get to the loo, I'd go in the bush outside too.

I don't like cats, but sometimes they have a point.

Yes. When she got back fromk the hospital, The litterbox was overflowing.
thats the reason why :good: just get your friend to put the cat back to its normal routine and all will go back to normal

My version of a full litterbox and my cat's are apparently two very different things. I clean the box every other day. But, if she feels it's too full, she'll use the end of my comforter on the bed as her toilet. Guess she taught me, huh?
