Terrapin

[Terrapin]

I've had two terrapins for a few months now, and they've been great. But now one of them isn't eating anymore, and isn't as active either. It tends just to sit up on the rock most of the time , and has started to object to eating... can u please help me?!

i know it sounds mad, and it probably isn't all that good for them.. but we used to sometimes give our terrapins cat food they loved it, it was stuff we used to get at home which had chunks of fish in it. it was a long time ago, and there was no information regarding how to keep these pets.. so no one shout at me

however if you did want to try feeding them fish or something similar we used to use a knickerbocker glory spoon (really long handled spoon, which was designated to the terrapins only) and dangle it above the tank, the terrapins used to eat the food off the spoon! )

Can you give us what you have tried to feed it, what type of turtle, tank setup, tankmates, anything look wierd on him. Otherwise try a variaty of food, clean water and plenty of plants for them to chew on.
