TEMPERATURE!!!

i have just bought some new gouramis and they need a minimum temperature of 27 degrees celcius and the platys i dont no really so will it be ok to raise the temp to 27 or will the platys suffer?

I can't find much. I used to have one unti recently which was fine at 77F.

I have 2 moonlight gouramis and a platty and the temp is at 29c or 81f you should be ok just raise it slowly so you dont shock the fish go to about 27/28c and see how you get on!

Why di you have your temp at 81?

You should be careful IMO, as you have a small tank with a lot of fish. Oxygen doesn't hold well the warmer the water.
