Temperature Question

I filled some of my tanks yesterday just to try them and they are sitting at 71.6 deg F without heaters when we have no heating on in the house and when the heating is on in the house it goes up to 73.8 deg F is this OK or should i use Heaters in the tanks.

The bettas will most likely survive in such conditions, However if at all possible it would be best to get one.
Betta's are tropical fish there for prefer the heat.
But it's your fish mate whatever you feel best- It will still be fine without

that temp is ok, a degree warmer wouldn't go a miss
but to have the temperatures yo-yoing is going to affect the bettas
they need the temperature constant

I have the heaters so i will put them in, then they will have a constant temperature of the high 70s

My betta is really really happy with a constant temp in the high 70's

well i now have 25w heaters in all the tanks so i am about ready
