Hi I am currently treating my Angelfish in my hospital tank at the moment with a worm treatment, I did read on an Angelfish site on the net that I should also raise my temp to 95 F, I have done this but I'm very worried that this temp is to high, I'm just after advice to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
Thanks KAZ.

I'm not sure with angels i'm sure 'Tolak' mentioned something recently about them tolerating high temperatures...
I'd advise pm'ing him.
In the meantime make sure you have a fair amount of water movement at the surface of the tank, preferably via your filter outlet, this should compensate for some of the oxygen lost via your temperature raise therefore reducing the risk of hypoxia.
I'll do some research or even better try and drag up Tolaks post....
Edited to add; what worms are you treating for and what med are you using?

Thanks for all your help Germ, that was a very interesting read on the link and I am keeping a very close eye on my fish.
I rang my LFS today and described the symptoms and they said it sounded like worms and advised that I treat with Aquarium Science Aqua Worm, I've been doing lots of reading tonight and it could also be Constipation, his stomach has bloated right up and I've not seen any waste today at all, he has not been well for about 3 days now, as described in the link you sent me he has been hiding at the back of the tank when normally he rushes to the front of the tank anytime you come into the room, his poo have been long and stringy being either white or clear in color and for about 24 hours now he has been gasping, his main symptoms at the moment is the gasping and the big bloated stomach, anyway he is in the hospital tank now with the Aqua Worm treatment and a good filter running, I have the temp at 80 F at the moment ( I turned it back down again ) and I will increase it slowly over a period of time, either way I'll be fasting him over the next few days.
Thanks again for your help, just a matter of keeping my fingers crossed now.
KAZ.

If he is gasping then be extremely careful with the temp raise! This suggests hypoxia.
Research hexamita and capillaria these are your most likely suspects with angels...

Just be sure that there is plenty of aeration when temperatures are raised that high. It can often cause a lot of stress on a fish. :good:
