im still pretty new to the fish keeping hobby and theres alot of fish id love to keep in the future but one in particular, every time i visit the lfs i gaze into the puffer tanks, these guys are just so cool lov the way thier little fins buz like a humming bird just so much fun to watch. just read around on another site and im quite amazaed they seem to be quite a simple fish to keep and can be kept in as little as 5 gallons, it could take me a while building up all the kit in need but whats everyones opinions on the dwarf puffer anyone keep one what do you think of them, ive heard they are incredibly interlectual and have great personalaties.

apparently they are very clever, small fish, also, they need a decent filter as they are messy and can be kept in a 5 gallon, just 1 though.

if i got a 5+ gallon tank and a 10+ gallon filter everything should be fine then


in fact i could use the elite mini filter i have (20liter filter) and a bubble filter or would that stress the puffer out?

Mine seem to enjoy the water current. If you watch it close enough, you'll be able to tell if he likes it not, though.
