I posted ages ago about my fish that had a cauli lokking growth on him. I treated him but it didnt make much difference. He is in his own tank with a filter and is very happy only I noticed the growth is getting worse and I managed to get a piccie of it..not very clear but has anyone any ideas of what I can treat him with? He is such a lovely friendly fish.

sorry piccie is so big

If it looks all bumpy then its a viral condition known a Lymphocystis or commonly referred to as Cauliflower disease.
There is no cure despite what manufacturers claim and as your fish doesnt have it on the eye or gills then it wont bother him in the slightest.
I cant say if it will eventually kill your fish as they can spread internally as well but outgrowing tumours can be removed by a vet but usually they regrow again.

As it is contagious then dont add any other fish and be careful if you have other tanks of cross infection.

Thanks for reply...it has got much bigger.I looked at some old photos of him he is by himself in a tank so all should be well. Actually son has a really big tank upstairs with one lone molly in I might give that a good clean out and let him live in there. Its really big tank so I will see.
