Teddybear Crab

I believe I have a teddy bear crab , there's not much on the forum about them, but at least I can now ID it. I gather they may eat fish, I've certainly lost a couple of snails lately, but as yet I have no fish so he's out of luck!

I don't want to kill it , but if I have to I will. Are there alternatives? Do they eat small fish, sedentary fish or is it a case of any fish will do? Are they useful in any way... would my lfs be interested?

Yes to both parts of that question. They're very opportunistic so expect them to eat anything they can lay their claws on...

Thanks for clarifying that he had to go. I phoned my LFS and they said they would take him - hopefully he'll find a more appropriate home. I'm glad he's being given a second chance.
