hi guys and gals

I have just got a pair of ADF's and need to know the best way to feed them. I have got some freeze dried bloodworms and some brine shrimp which i put in the tank.

How much should i be feeding them? Last time they didn't touch the bloodworms but after 10 mins or so they did eat the brine shrimp, but it seemed to make the water quite cloudy?

I did remove the blood worms that were floating on the top of the tank after about half an hour or so.

Would a small pinch of brine shrimp be ok, once every two days??

thanks in advance

rich :D

Forzen bloodworm or live, brine shrimp as youve tried, maybe daphnia and some sinking pellets should be good. If youve got no fish in with them then feed them every other day :good:

ok well i'll try a couple of sinking catfish pellets i have. They didn't eat the dried bloodworms at all, what i put in the tank just floated on the top and seemed to make the water really cloudy!!

Cheers

Rich :)

He forgot to tell you to squirt the food at them with a turkey baster. That'll make the food stay down. Or so I've been told. :good:

yes you can use a turkey baster, skurt it right over thier heads or they might not find it. also do not squirt it on them that isn't very nice and i'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it happening to you. anyway (that wasn't meant to be mean) you can also feed them by hand you might have to chase them at first but soon they will atart comeing up to you when they see you. it's pretty cute. well i hope that helps. :good:

oh and you feed them EVERY DAY! not every two days. they are just like fish you feed them once-to-twice a day in moderation.
