Went to vegas few weeks ago and got married.
The day after we popped next door from our hotel to The Mirage Hotel, out the back it has the Dolphin habitat and Secret Garden (where the tigers and white lions are kept....they still have the male that mauled roy and take it on walks etc only goes on display in the garden once or twice a weeek.
Anyway, the dolphin habitat is Awesome just a 2.5-3ft wall between you and the dolphins not like seaworld etc. Has underwater viewing too.
There are no scheduled performances, only random interactions where the dolphins get fed or trained to take tubes internally for med delivery they are not made to perform.
It houses 3 pools 2 huge and one birthing pool, and the Filtration system Is huge we are talking football pitch size for the filtration tanks probably more as i couldnt see further than the first few lines of tanks.
heres a few and i mean a few, took over 200 in the habitat/gardens!
ANd the best bit the Amount of water they make!! not easy to get sea water in middle of the desert, although it is vegas so could expect it to be done some how
