Hey, Just a quick question. I have a goniopora in my 20g with abut 390gph current flow. just wondering if I should turn off the pumps while I target feed.. it is what I have been doing.. I turn them off for about a half hour.. should I stay, keep the current going, or turn it off for longer.... also... I know recomended flow rate is 20x turnover for reef. is this concidered mild, med, or strong for my 20g... I know positioning is also an element for that but Im just curious. in general terms. thanks

Turnover rate is dependent on volume... So as long as it's calculated properly you should be OK. Three notes about Goniopora... First, they have very poor survival rates in home aquaria. Second and third, it seems as though if you are to have any success, you need to NOT skim, and NOT have high light.
