Hi all, i know this is a bit of a stupid question  , but how and which tap water conditioner do you use?
I have for all my years, just been leaving water to sit in buckets and never had a problem. But now i have acquired a breeding pair of angel fish, so i will be doing lots of water changes, and don't have the time to let it stand.
So where do you all get it from? eBay?
Also is it as easy as putting water in the bucket and the conditioner and the job is done?

Thanks
Westwood!

Seachem Prime. It comes in the same size bottles as the others but is super duper concentrated so goes a long way.

5ml treals 200 litres. :good:

seachem prime as well . the best ive ever used . you can go 1 of 2 ways. either just put some in the bucket or you can dose the tank and refil with a hose .

Thanks for the input, i have just orderd myself a 500ml bottle, should last a while. :good:

Hmm,depends how my bank balance is... If I'm feeling rich I'll use stresscoat, if I'm poor then one designed for ponds is just as good. Normally I use Interpet Tapsafe but only as that's an average priced one. It'll tell you how much to add per litre or gallon of water on the bottle and you can get it online but all lfs should carry it, even bad ones.

+1 Seachem Prime :good:

I used to use Aquasafe but after lots of probs with water quality a while ago I changed to Prime and wouldn`t use anything else now. Fleabay is the cheapest place I`ve found for it ;)

I use fresh start pond stuff. About £17 1L deliverd on ebay

API Tap Water Conditioner. It costs $5.99 for a 16 oz. bottle. That's enough to treat 9,460 gallons of water. :)
