Any way that helps rid a driftwood filled tank of the tannins released....i dont care for tea all that much....Been doing weekly 25% water changes with no lightening of the tannins from the new wood (inserted into the tank 3 months ago)....anything in particular that might help clear up the tank...in addition to more water changes? Or should i continue my everlasting tea party?

What is your stocking? Several species of fish like tannins as it better replicates their natural environment.

Do much bigger water changes.
lol just did a 50% change....

and right now i have
4x Toxotes microlepis (freshwater archerfish maxing at about 5" or so)
1x African knifefish
65 gallon tank

I had same problem mate, got a huge piece of bogwood had in for a few months and no amount of water changes got rid of tannins, bought some purigen this week off ebay, put it in filter, 24hrs later I have crystal clear water!
