Tanks!

Hey,

I have a male and female betta each in their own 2 gallon tank - which is fine but they're not the nicest looking tanks, and they take up a lot of room!!! Ive been looking on various websites for some divided tanks specifically for bettas and can only find ones used for breeding with about 6 compartments for fish, or one that has two compartments but they're each only about 1/4 of a gallon which is obviously not enough!!!

Does anyone know any websites i might be able to find them on or suggest any shops i can go to that sells them?! Im in the UK so they'd have to be ones i can get to! :D lol

Thanks!

Hey Jess,

1st let me ask you, what's wrong with the 2 gallon tanks? The two gallon tanks are fine. Those breeding brackes for bettas are a no no, nonetheless that's not the way to breed bettas. I wouldn't have a betta in something less then 1 gallon(around that number, I have some in 0.83 which is almost 1 gallon and wouldnt do less). I have many 2.5 gallon tanks divided 3 ways, with glass dividers you can do that. Let us know, what you do :)

There's nothing wrong with the two two galls, and i wont be getting the breeding thing as i dont plan on breeding my fish! I only got the female one as the male was looking a bit depressed and i was told it might cheer him up! which it has! :)

As the tanks i have are only plastic-type things, and funny shapes im not sure id be able to divide them so id rather buy something that is already divided! I just dont have enough room for the two tanks!

I know it doesn't make much sense - but i just want something thats good for the fish, and a bit more convenient! :)
