Well recently I had a group of 3 bloodfin tetras a 2 died to age but the one thats left seems to be acting funny ands spends 70% of the time just going up and down the glass. I was hoping he'd start schooling with the neons but no luck. So my main question is should I take him to the store that has more bloodfins so he feels comfortable or should I just keep him till he dies? Also to let ya know my tank is 30 gal, I have 3 pearl gouramis, 5 dwarf rainbow fish, 4 loachs, 2 otto's, now 7 neon tetras, 1 swordtail, and also I've been thinking about taking back my 5 Giant Danios as of now I know sense they where sold as zebras. But would keeping the danios be fine or should I take them back as well? I'm also not getting rid of the other fish above since I've had them for awhile. I'm also in a pickle cause I don't have time till the begining of may to take them back, Anyway please let me know your thoughts! :good:

All tetra are happiest in groups of at least 6 I do believe...mine are anyway...so if you have no plans to add to the shoal again I'd take it back :) Sometimes tetra of different species shoal together but it's not that common.

As for the danios, if you don't like them then take them back too. Giant danios are much larger than zebras when fully grown.

Well going by the 1 inch per gallon rule you are overstocked, so in short rehoming some fish would be a good idea.

You will find that 5 adult Giant Danios will easily become kings of your tank and may start to harass smaller fish, They would also benefit from a larger tank.
I have 5 in a 65G and theyy certainly use up every inch of the upper level of the tank,

IMO i would also rehome the bloodfin and the swordtail, for the simple reason that they would be much happier living with more of their own kind.

Also do you know what type of loach you have?

Well for loachs I have 2 smaller species of yo-yo's and 2 khuli's also I'm keeping my swordtail as he's happy in my tank and killed 2 females I had with him he seems very happy by himself and I under stand that they like to be with more swordtails but he's one of those fish that likes being with himself in which I respect, its also like I now have a young male pearl gourami that hangs out with my other male and female=2male/1female, "go figure".
