hi, firstly i dont know if this is the right category to post this but i couldnt find a loach section.

well i decided to sell my big tank and just get a smaller one , im pretty tired of a community so i wanted
a tank with just Kuhli Loaches casue there freaken awesome.
luckily my brother had a spare small jebo r311 tank that i could use for them (310(L)X250(W)X280(H)mm)

i was planning to get around 4-6 kuhli's

question is.. is this tank for too small for them? the tank will be filled with java ferns, hiding ornaments, sand-like gravel. im just curious cause they dont really require much space casue there so small and like hiding out all day, i just dont wanna make them uncomforatable, if there put in a tank they dont like.

thanks

The loach specialists are actually lurking in the Cyprinids, Characins and Atherinids forum. Although We do have one or two who lurk in this forum as well. :) I myself am not conversant with kuhli loaches.

i dont know how many gallons your tank is
but kuhlis are pretty small, say 3 to 4 in and skinny. the hardly affect the bioload. i would assume they would be ok down to 10g, maybe 5 if there were not too many other fish...
