Just finished building a stand for my aqua one 620, a proper cabinet is around £60. All together this has cost me around £10 tops to make, mainly due to the fact B&Q had a load of kitchen cabinet ends marked up for 10p the other day. Needless to say i took the lot for £1.40. Also the oak coloured edging strip cost me a penny from there for 10m of the stuff, they seem to have some real bargains at the moment.

I'm just posting this really to show it doesnt have to cost a lot to have a half decent cabinet. Im in the middle of building one out of plywood for my 4ft tank as the stand for thats been water damaged. That ones taking a little longer though due to it costing more than 10p a sheet. Anyway heres some pics, let me know what you think.

You got the materials for dirt cheap, looks like a quality job. :good:

Id probably put a shelf in, for somewhere to store more things IMO

Dont really need one at the moment to be honest as all the meds etc are all in my 4ft in the same room. My other half seems to have taken it as a nappy/junk cupboard anyway lol

Brilliant job! Quite a success! Love the build quality at such cheap prices.
