tank size

I have three young red oscars and a plecostomus in a 29 gallon tank. I know i am already overstocking the tank but pretty soon i am going to get a 125 gallon. I was wondering if i can add anymore fish to the 125 besides the three oscars and plecostomus.

Everyone from the Oscarfish.com forums are all like strict environmental conservationists and when i said i had 3 oscars in a 30 they were like ohhhhhh your gonna kill them you're pure evil. They will only last 1 day ina 30. You must have a soul of ice. i was like what? Maybe you guys can tell me what i need to know instead of critisising me because i said i was gooing to have 3 oscars in a 30 for 1 week.

I know exactly how that is.
Anyway, Oscar's can get pretty big so keeping 3 in a 125 would probably be about all you could comfortably fit in there.
How big are your O's now.
because if they are still small you could get a Leperinus (spelling)
They are small and get along with O's.
I have one and they do well together. But I probably wouldn't put any thing else in there.

thanks. they are about 3-5 in now. i could send some pictures on this thread if you could tell me how. i was also wondering how you can get your status to be higher than a newbie.

Yeah, they are still little. So they are going into a 125 next week?
They'll be fine for a week.
Have you ever seen a leperinus (sp?).
They are really cool. They do get long though,but not very big around.
You could post your pics in the pic area. There is a browse button, so you can search for files on your computer. Or you could go to photobucket.com and upload there. really easy!
To get out of newbie status, you just have to post more.

Your 4 fish are enough for the 125.
