I would think so, for a while anyway, they can get quite big.

So they wouldent be able to spend their lives in there? What about dyed ones, i feel so sorry for them. Do you think i shouldent get dyed ones, They deserve a home too. But i dont want to support such a crule cause. I will leave them in the shop so no fish replace the ones i tank. Its leave them to save some.

Bp usually doesnt grow more than 5-6 inches..so i would think they be fine in a 40inch wide tank.. the dyed one is up to you. the dye usually fades away after awhile anyways..good luck with what you prefer

I just feel so sorry when no-one wants the dyed ones. I think i will get real ones.

I have heard that the dyed Parrots, don't live as long as the ones that are not dyed.

I have 2 Parrots in a 29 gallon tank and they seem to be doing fine.

I am getting a 75 Gallon for Christmas, so will be moving them soon.

I saw some dyed ones. Poor things. One of their eyes looks like its melting!! What is this?

dunno about the eye melting


but buying dyed fish because you feel sorry for them ( I know what you mean - it's horrible) is quite a bad thing as the shop will just order more in

With parrots try and buy the dull brown/green juvies.Not only can you be sure they are not dyed but they tend to be much cheaper.
