Went looking at tanks today and found three that Caught my eye.

Ones a 90gallon tank come with stand, hood and light believe something else dont remember. For roughly 600.00
If you went with thier package deal you get the tank, the hood the lights, heater filter gravel and water test kits. all for 485.00

There were 2 65 gallon tanks there. Same thing if you got the package deal for the gravel, heater filter etc. one was 400.00(blackstand and nicer top) and the other was 339.00(oak stand)
(all prices are in Canadian currency)

Way I was thinking though its a bit more money its really only 85.00-146.00(depends on what tank you look at) dollars difference from the 2 65gallon tanks to the 90. For that little bit more money you 25gallons more.

Should I get the bigger tank, and later on will I bet gald I did?
what would you guys do?

get the bigger tank.i wished i'd got the 100 gallon and not the 55 gallon .you know you'll regret it if you get the smaller tank lol.

get the biggest tank you can. dont even sit and think just get the biggest you can.

easier said than done

Few question Id most likely go with a canister filter with a 90.
The RENA Filstar XP 3 Canister is Recommended for aquariums up to 175 gallons in size and the RENA Filstar XP 2 Canister is Recommended for aquariums up to 75 gallons in size. Should I get the bigger filter?

Now for heating. the tank will be on the main floor of the house. will a 200 watt heater be enough, or should spend a bit more money and get the 300watt heater?

i think the rule of thumb is 5 watts per gallon. im pretty sure on this but if im wrong some one please say something. and go with the bigger tank becuase i was going to get a 55 gallon tank and i went with the 100 gallon tank but to tell u the truth i wish i would of saved a little bit more money and get like a 300 gallon tank.
