tank prices

I was down the LFS today having a browse, and saw a tank, 91x45x50 inches, so, i figure about 50 gallons. It was $120 AUD, which I think is about $95 US.

Is this a good price? It was about another $90 for the stand, though that's less of a concern.

I'd have liked the 6 foot tank they had , but, that's just not an option unfortunately.

You must mean centimeters or milimeters not inches, because there is no 50 gallon tank 91 inches long.

Buggrit, yeah, i converted the inches to cm more for myself.
36x18x20 inches.

i think thats a bit expensive, but maybe its different in australia than in the states

an all glass 55gal tank here in south florida lfs's runs $100 retail.

I am also in OZ and I paid $150 for my 75gal including lids....no stand.....That was an incredibly good deal though and I drove 3 hours there to buy it (then squashed it into the backseat of my car for the drive home).....

The price you said sounds about right.....

There's not too many places near me where I can go to compare, so I wasn't sure what was a good price or not.
