So here is my question. I am new(ish) to fish and currently am running a 10 gallon tetra/platy tank as well as a 5 gallon Goldfish tank. I currently have a pregnant Platy and am going away. I can take her with me and have the extra filter/heater for her but i dont have the cash to spend on a tank. i have looked everywhere for something small that i can take and nothing is available in the 1-2.5 gallon range that will fit my foam filter. I am thinking of trying to use a something like a small plastic container or something form the dollar store but am not sure what to watch out for or if there is even anything to worry about (leaching of chemicals etc). if anyone has any ideas of a temporary tank that i could use it would be much appreciated thanks
