Hi, Vectrum.

Hmm, that's a little less than 1/4".

If the tank is sloped, and not 'flexed' or 'twisted', then chances are you're probably ok, especially if the tank isn't too large. What size is the tank?

What I mean is, on the front or back (wherever the water is lower), if the gap is the same all along the length, then you'll probably be ok. If the water is low in one corner, but 'full' in the other corner, then it may become a problem.

g'day,

the slope does not seem too big and i don't think it will pose that much of a problem.

As long as the base of your tank has some styrofoam to pad the bottom it should be able to distribute the weight of your tank evenly.

My two foot tank has a noticeable 5mm difference from the front, and there does not seem to be any problem.

the sise of the tank is 24"x 18 x 12. just looked and it has a thery slight lean side was too but only round 3mm. thanks for the hellp.

I wouldn't worry about it. the difference is not enough to warp the tank or harm it. both my 55 gallon and 30 gallon are a little off level, and have been for more than two years now.
