Hi everyone, could you pls share some ideas on how you have arranged your tanks for your bettas. Or if anyone has got some pictures of their set ups, just getting some ideas together for my trip tomorrow to my lfs.

Cant wait to get mine set up ready for my first betta. Ive always just walked past them when i have vistited lfs, but since becoming a member here i have got inspiration to set my old 4.5 Gal up to house a betta.

Thanks :D :D

Hey in one of the 3 set-ups I have is a 2.5g with blue gravel and one big fake plant in my other 2 1/2g bowls in one I have a sign that says fish 4 sale and blue gravel and the other has a small fake plant in it with blue gravel.

Why not put sand in and put some low light plants in like Java Fern and and Java Moss.
Looks awesome

Alright, you asked for it, pictures of tanks! Here is my 10g betta setup, which was pretty inexpensive, until I decided to plant it seriously and add CO2, but I'm sure you can do a low-tech version with crypts, java fern and java moss. Yes, there are three bettas hiding among the plants. :S

My other bettas are in the following type of setup. A 2g bowl with a clear plastic plate lid, natural gravel, java fern, floating salvinia minima, and a cave for them to sleep. Have fun at the LFS.

You may find that you can't stop with just one betta! Good luck with your set up. Here's my Sorority tank (six females) and a not very good photo of the other betta tanks sitting on the entertainment center. George's six gallon tank is to the left and now the 10 gallon sorority tank is to the right. Each of the 1 gallon tanks have a silk plant and a "cave" (small planter laying on its side). George has silk plants and a large rock/cave. The girls have a large rock/cave, several silk plants, and a couple of smaller caves. They look more brown in natural light than the green showing in the photo. Some of the tanks have river rock or flat marbles on the bottom, some are bare. I would like to move all the 1 gallon bettas into at least 2.5 gallon tanks, but I have to find the funds and space for those first. The Sorority has heat and filter, but the rest do not. I do 90% water changes weekly for the other tanks.
