Navarre Marine Moderator Joined Jun 11, 2004 Messages 3,824 Reaction score 0 Dec 14, 2004 #2 I would go for 2 holes. where you place them is up to you and the design of the sump/placement in the room etc. Top corner holes with mini wiers (what my tank has) Bottom drilled make a far more effiecient return system to the sump 2 holes will drain water far more effciently than 1 and should 1 hole become blocked then the tank wont overflow. The holes in my tank are drilled large enough to accept 32mm waste pipe for the return
