i just got a 20 gallon tank and i want to divide it into a bout 3 areas and keep betta in them
but i dont want them to be flaring at each other all the time can someone help me find a good thing to divide with
p.s. i want the water to flow throuh the areas

I use a Under Gravel Filter that i cut up to divide the tank, it provides exellent water flow and is also easy to install and if you have enough gravel to keep them standing up right they will never fall.

this might sound weard but i used plastic mats that you put ur dinner plats on i just drilled a few holes in it so the water can move around.
my bettas cant see each other and works great

Hello,
You can also use plastic canvas sheets (can be bought at craft stores, etc.) with plastic report cover spines (holders). Where I am they are about $0.79 each (probably even cheaper for others).

This link gives a brief description:

Tank Dividers

Hope that helps!

I wonder if you could also grow java moss on a standard plastic tank divider? That might reduce visibility, and look nicer too!

Ive just divided a 20g (uk g) into 2 for 4 bettas (one male 3 female) i got a piece of glass cut with a few holes in and it cost me about 20 quid from a glass merchant, used silicone, ive just brought some plastic sheeting from staples cut it the same as the glass then i can put that in or out depending on if i want my fish to see eachother!
