strangest thing recently occured to me. i have a 10 gal with mollies and cory cats, and 5 gal with dwarf puffers and bumblebee gobies. inthe 10, i have 4 mollies and 6 cories. in the 5 i have two dwarf puffers and 2 bbgs. i've noticed in both tanks, that after a certain number of fish, any additional ones seem to die off. for the 5 gal, that magic number is 4 fish. for the molly tank, its been 10 fish. i try even one more fish in either and somethign dies. never see signs of disease or any such thing. maybe its all the filter can handle or something, i know theres something to that. its just strange, my tanks seem to have their own holding number on fish. anyone else ever experience this? a stable number that you just can't seem to go beyond? i consider both tanks fully stocked now, and have no plans to add to either, but just something i noticed as i began to stock my tanks, and runs through my crazy overworked mind now and again.
