Hi :)

In a tank that size I wouldn't want more than three fancy goldfish, just as a heads up. Black moors are lovely and a pair would thrive in there on their own. If you'd really like to get a third, any other fancy goldfish would be fine - perhaps avoid fantails as they are the largest and most able swimmers, but perhaps go for other globe-eyed fish or a nicely coloured oranda.

Goldfish are all the same breed - Carassius Auratus - so the different types are best described as varieties. :)

Thank you for all your help so far. =]

hmm if i have two blackmoors and a multi coulared fancy goldfish is it cudal they all it? well am guessing my tank will look rather bear =[ is there no really small fish that are no more than an in long i could put in with them?

Some people have mixed danios or White Cloud Mountain Minnows (WCMM's) with fancy goldfish successfully, however all goldfish have the potential to eat such small fish so thats always something to keep in mind (its much less likely to happen though with slow moving fancy goldfish than it is to happen with fast agile swimming non-fancy goldfish like comets and commons).

Bubble Eye goldfish (different from Celestial Eye goldfish) are the smallest growing variety of fancy goldfish, usually growing to 6inches tops, if you devoted the tank to these fish you could probably get up to 5 Bubble Eye goldfish in the tank if that was all you were keeping in the tank. They come in a large variety of colors and patterns, see link for pics;

For larger varieties of fancy goldfish i would advise having only 3 though (the larger varieties can easily attain 10inches long). All goldfish tanks need good strong filtration as well :nod: .

thank you tokis=phoenoix for your help but am not too keen on the bubble eye goldfish and i heard that they have to be in a tank with no sharp objects so the gravel probably wouldent be a great idea lol. yay i can have minnows lol. How many minnows could i have?

you can have some oranda or shubikun's with them
