Hello again,

I've aquired a 180L tank that has been sitting in a garage for years. I've read other posts, and want to clean it with a vinegar solution.

The tanks too big for the kitchen sink. Or the bath for that matter :)

So do I just wash it in-situ and then siphon that water out, rinse siphon and repeat? Any tips in this regard?

Cheers
Moon

can you bring it outside and use a garden hose on it? probably rinse much faster this way ;)

Good idea, but there is no grass or soft things to lay it on. Maybe I could finally use that rubber yoga matt that's gathering dust under my bed!

Use white vinegar on it and then rinse throughly. It's great and safe for cleaning aquariums. SH
