Tank background

:D I just put the tank back ground on the inside of the tank , it looks loads better than on the outside
My five Tiger Barbs diddnt bite me !! the good little :devil: s
 
You can buy special sticky stickers that are safe in water but mine has clipped under the hood and the rocks hold it back as well . I saw the stickers in the fish shop they were special ones for the job in hand.
But it does make a difference :rolleyes:

The only problem with doing that is after a short time the background will start to disintegrate!! Once this process begins it is also likely the fish will start to nibble at it.

You will end up with many tiny pieces of background floating around in your tank!!

that is the problem that i had. seems my pacu acquired a taste for the background. also if you have a pleco in the tank they may also suck the coating off the background and it may harm them. not sure about that though. also since water can still get between the background and the glass you will get a build up of algae since it is not possible to remove the background every time you do a water change and scrape the glass.
