Hi
Can someone tell me, is it possible top keep 2 males in the same tank (Tropheous)?

I have 2 of these fish, one larger than the other. They larger one is really giving the slightly smaller one a hard time. What can I do? Can they never be kept together?

Also what other cichlids can they be kept with?

Many thanks

Tropheus are extremely aggressive and active. One will probalby kill the other eventually.

THey are best kept in large tanks and high densities to distribute aggression. They easily come down with a conditions called 'bloat', which can kill them if not caught quickly enough. To avoid this they should be fed a specialized diet of primarily spirulina, and the water should be kept as pristine as possible. They are really best off in species tanks.
