Got bored the other night and did a net search to find out what sort of fish is in my partner's parents tank. Definately a Tandus Catfish B). His dad caught it on a line (fishing) over a decade ago and he's been living it up in their lounge room since. He has a six foot tank to himself - he used to share it with some perch - also line caught - but they recently died of what appeared to be old age (they had been in the tank 15 years, don't know how old they were when caught).
Does anyone know what the lifespan of a Tandas catfish is? Even Planet catfish didn't know.
