I bought two bettas with the biggist tailf and fins :hyper: ;but I was wondering wether the others with smaller tails could eventually grow bigger fins if they were kept in a better enviroment.

only if they had natural gorwing to do as in becoming ful grown adult or if it tail was torn or been bitten it mght heal back up

That is not a smart choice. Most people want the biggest and prettiest. You're one of them. The betta you got could be older than the other ones. If you would have picked the smaller ones, you would be able to have them longer and watch them grow. But, you didn't, so you might as well pick up from that age...

different bettas have different tail/fin lengths. Some of mine have long flowing fins, and some have shorter, slimmer fins, and one just has a fairly short, but very fan-shaped tailfin... And they're all so gorgeous; part of their appeal is the variety, I think...

Actually there bodys were about the fame size as the ones with tha shorter fins.
I just bought a new betta from a diffrent pet store and this one is older even though his fins are big like the other two, his body is bigger then their body.
Anyways even though there older it dosen't meen the'll die that much faster than the others. I adopted an old betta from a friend and he turned out to be the best betta I ever had :D . I miss him :-(
:fish:
