My naughty Red Phantom Tetra chewd the tails off all my glo-light albino tetra

Since took red phantoms back to aquatic centre but worried that my fishies tails won't grow back,

Will they or won't they? :-(

It should but there is a good chance that fungus may take hold so be careful and watch the fish closely. You might want to add some melafix to help with the healing process. HTH :)

Melafix and clean environment will greatly improve your glolights tails. I bought most of my glolights with their tails chewed to the body (stupid walmart and putting wrong kinds of fish together), so I quickly saved them and they're all back to normal within a months time. Just dilute the amount of Melafix abit because small tetras can be senstive to meds. When their fins do grow out, they have beautiful white tips that form on the edges

hi,

Last weekend we had a phantom trapped and her tail eaten (virtually none left)

anyway - after we got her out (she was behind the CO2 diffuser) she was in good health - its been a week now and her tail is coming back surprisingly quickly!

All i've been adding it the stree coat stuff...
