Tahitan Moon Sand

i'm planning to re-do my tank soon and i really had my heart set on some tahitan moon sand but when i when on the caribsea website (the people who make it) it said that it shouldn't be used with bottom dwellers. i thought this was strange as it is sand, anyone have any experience of using it with corys, thanks for any help.

There have been many people who say they've kept Cories and other bottom dwellers with TMS for years without problems and I have some but it's not in with any fish at the moment. I've felt it before with my fingers though and while it's kind of rough, I doubt it would harm a Cories barbels either.
