I have 4 tadpoles, which I am 99% sure are Southern Toads. They've got their back legs now. How long til they completely morph into toadlets?
And when they're adults, I'm going to use a 20g long and I want it to look something like this http/tadpolediary.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/fr og-tank-4.jpg
But with more (land and water) plants probably and probably a bit less water and more land instead. Is that a good set up? Or should Southern Toads not have such a moist set up with so much water? What plants are safe for them?
I read that plastic shoe boxes/tubs with damp paper towels, organic soil, and very shallow dishes of water is best when they're toadlets. That when they're in something small, they have an easier time finding food. is that true?
