T8 Bulbs

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a decent site that sell T8 bulbs? i usually buy from my Lfs but feel i am being robbed every time i do.

I don't like ebay that much, bad past experience.

I have found warehouse aquatics online, but never heard of them.

Do you know if using marine tubes is ok with freshwater? i recently went full planted and i do not feel my current bulbs are up to the job so looking to replace, example: Amazon Link

My lfs charge anywhere between £18 up to £30, usually the cheaper ones are the warm effect which makes my tank look like someone has urinated in it.

No you'd be better with one for plants. That kind of lighting is good for coral growth but is very very bright.

Always worth taking a print out and asking the shop if they'll price match, I find the words "because I prefer to support local shops" does the trick.

The first one sounds better, i have a tropical tube in now but it has a more yellow tint and really does look like pee without the the other tube turned on lol

I found the same bulb on warehouse aquatics for a few quid cheaper, everything looks great until they slam P&P on top
