T5 Lights, Which Is Best?

Hi there. I have a Fluval Vicenza 180 litre tank. Recently i have noticed that the lights in the tank don't seem to be as bright as they used to be. Maybe i am imagining it as the missus can't see a difference. I also have its smaller 125 litre brother which is using T8's and the light levels seem far better. The tubes i have in the aquarium are a Power Glo and a Life Glo. Are these the best combinations for light levels? I have been recommended i get a blue one for the front of the aquarium to enhance the colours of the fish.

The tubes seem to be in good condition and don't seem no dimmer when looking at them. Also, can i buy new reflector strips for above the tubes?
