T5 End Caps - Where Can I Buy Them From?

Hi All

Im retrofitting a Rena 600 aqualife lighting unit to take 80W HO T5 tubes. Rena dont make t5 end caps and the only other ones i can find are either not IP65, or are ip65 eg arcadia, but i cant see how to connect them to the box section of the original unit. Not sure if there are any direct replacements, but id like a t5 end cap with some sort of plastic mounting, sut cant find any anywhere, except the US.

Can the arcadia end caps http/dev2.arcadia-uk.info/product.php?ps...p;sub=&id=4 be fixed onto the box sextion i need??

I will write a retrofitting guide if theres enough interest.

Of course - already have it. I have the rena box sections fully stripped out and am ready to rewire, but cant begin without the end caps.

Have you rang the local fish shops ? I noticed they were a standard line in a local one

If your LFS does not do them try electrical whole salers like Newye and Aires , City electrical factors , Radio spares , Wilts wholesale electrical or sparks direct there are bucket loads of them and you should find one local to you.
