hi i have seen this tank:http/www.aquaone.co.uk/AquaStyle_aquarium.php its the 980 one.Currently it has T8 lights and i wondred if anyonw knew if i can simply take out the T8 tubes and replace them with the T'5

I have the 980. I have replaced the bulbs with T5 but we had to take the whole hood apart and start from scratch. Looks real good though and is well worth the trouble. You will also have to remove the built in filtration and cut about a foot of the filter compartment away to fit a skimmer. I use the TMC V2 400 on that tank and it works well although I will be replacing it with the V2 600 soon. It's a great tank though
