hi

I've been trying to syphone out water with my gravel cleaner and it aint working!!! Their is hardly any water coming out of the end tube in the bucket (so i thought blockage?) took it apart and there is nothing wrong with it :/ . My bucket is lower than the tank but still isnt syphoning.

WHY?

Also it aint pick up any of the gravel either and I've had it for a yaer and a half and used almost every week.

Depends on how complex a machine it is. There is probably a hole somewhere in the flexible tube. Siphoning works be equalling pressure in both containers so if there is a hole it will not be able to work effectively. If you can buy a new tube, great, if not you will have to get a new machine

Checked all the tube (no holes or splits found) i guess it is the syphning cap thats broken, ind you i've had it about 1.5 years so lasted well and was about £2-99.

So i just bought a new one for £3-99!!! bargain much bigger than my last one and better make and added features.

Thanks for the advice though

Where did you get one for that price with added features - I paid more than that for the plain basic one :(

indeed, round here they'r like £6-7 just for a basic syphon!

I got it from a place called 'The Range' i thought that they must of priced it up wrong!!!! i post you some if you like? cash up front of course. :D

Very good syphon on it took 10litres of water out in 2 mins!!!!!
