Synodontis, What Species?

these synodontis were rescued from my great grandpas 10 gallon goldfish tank at the nursing home, any idea what species? and any idea why they never come out of hideing? i never even see them eat!! but the one with no fins is doing better!! i had him for afew months and his fins were totaly gone now they are making a come back!.

-they are only in the breeder for the video

no just what you see dark grey, wen they get stressed tho they turn DARK DARK grey almost black with a thick white line by the lateral line

looks similar to Synodontis bastiani but is wider

also looks like a syno. frontosa without spots?

what species turns black with a white line?

idk....cross of everything rare or expensive because he got them from wallmart

quite likely to be a hybrid if you cannot tell there are so many of them its not possible to say with those pic
