Synodontis Nigriventris vs Synodontis Contractus

Well, what is the difference between Syno. Nigriventris and Syno. Contractus?

I have got 4 upside down catfish, but the pictures on the internet simply make me more confused. Could anyone tell me what is the difference between the two, and precautions i should take in case what i have is Contractus?

S.contractus or as it is commonly known the big nosed upside down catfish is the smallest known synodontis species which only reached a maximum adult size of 2 1/2 inches. Other than the larger nose and smaller adult size there no difference between S.contractus and S.nigriventris.
