Synodontis eupterus, how big are they as adults?

How big are they when theyre full size please! I have one and did do research but have received mized reviews so just lookin for help from you all!

8" seems to be the max size, as most sites and people say they get that big

Eupterus is the false upside down catfish, and should max at 8 inches

they are great fish and I might get another. Mine was about 8 years old and about 8-10 inches long and as fat as the one in the pic. They can get quite territorial. I rememeber mine always having a dispute with a large royal plec

if u get a pic of him with his fin up it will be really easy to tell

Fishy411 your fish IS an euruptus by the looks of it, you can see the feathered fin and it looks like the adult colouring of an euruptus.

I bought one on sunday. he's massive, easily 8 inches probably more, trouble is he doesn't stop fighting with my oscar so it may not wiork out. lovely looking fish though especially with fn up
