Syno petricola breeding size

What is breeding size for syno petricola ? mine are a little over an inch

I could swear my elongates (mbuna cichlid) is mouth brooding, but she can’t be unless…

Petricola take a while to mature, at an inch long it would be a miracle if yours had bred. I have 4 dwarf petricola and 1 true petricola. You should expect them to be mature at around 2" or so, which can be as much as 2 years old..

They do grow very slowly, but they are lovely little synos, mine are usually very active!

They have pretty much their own tank now 60 gallon in my sig, and they are all over. Before in the twenty gallon (also in sig) they didn't do much.
